Kematian XP

  

    Ya.. , sudah lama dikatakan bahwa XP akan kehilangan pamor nya sejak dikeluarkan Vista , tapi ternyata tidak pada saat itu , XP masih menjadi produk favorit dibandingkan Vista karena ternyata sistem Vista lebih rumit dan memakai memori yang besar , tapi sejak keluarnya 7 , XP perlahan mulai ditinggalkan , banyak pengguna yang lebih memlilih 7 dibandingkan dengan XP . Dan sekarang tampaknya Microsoft benar-benar ingin mengakhiri XP .
     Menurut Microsoft mulai tanggal 22 Oktober 2010 tidak ada produsen PC yang akan melakukan Pre-install XP karena Microsoft ingin fokus terhadap 7 . Belum lagi pihak Microsoft telah menyatakan sedang mengembangkan Windows 8 yang katanya akan dikeluarkan pada tahun 2012 .

    For Your Info , saat ini Facebook memperkenalkan sistem baru bagi para penggunannya , sistem ini digunakan karena facebook memperoleh banyak keluhan bagi para member/pengguna karena account mereka di-hack !! Sistem terbaru yang akan digunakan adalah dengan cara memasukkan perangkat pribadi seperti HP (handphone) , pc , laptop yang diperbolehkan untuk login ke Facebook . Jadi selain itu tidak dapat melakukan login ke account tersebut . Untuk menggunakan sistem ini , teman-teman dapat membuka account security yang ada di dalam account setting kemudian daftarkan perangkat-perangkat pribadi yang diperbolehkan untuk mengakses account teman-teman . Bagi user lain , jika ingin login dengan peralatan yang belum didaftarkan makan harus menjawab beberapa pertanyaan .

Asus who pioneered netbooks now enters tablet arena with Eee Pad EP90

Eee Pad EP90 is powered by a nVidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor running at 1GHz utilizing Windows 7 operating system. EP90 also boasts a 8.9-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, 16GB or 32GB optional hard drive, a slot for SD, SDHC/MMC memory cards, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and its battery life can last close to 6 hours.

Pillete, the new concept of Bluetooth headset is so tiny, it’s almost invisible to the untrained eye when you are wearing it. So you don’t have to worry anymore about looking like Robocop when walking down the street with it, but you have to consider the possibility of people starting to think you’ve lost your marbles and you’re talking to yourself.

The downside is the fact that people have different sized ears and the device might be too small and slip out or to big and not fit. People who often use earphones will tell you I’m right. But once they’ll figure out a way to make the Pillete adjustable, this design will be the future of all headsets.

IPhone 5G With 4G Network Support

It has been a rumor for a long time that Apple is considering a Verizon iPhone. And from the looks of things, it might come true as reports form the Wall Street Journal says that mass-production for this iPhone begins at the end of 2010, allowing Verizon to sell them the following year. More information after the cut.

The new iPhone would be similar in design to the iPhone 4 currently sold by AT&T Inc. but would be based on an alternative wireless technology called CDMA used by Verizon, these people said. The phone, for which Qualcomm Inc. is providing a key chip, is expected to be released in the first quarter of next year, according to the same people.

Along side that news is that Verizon is planning to launch their 4G LTE service next year. Currently, iPhones are GSM-based, thus, having no CDMA support -- Verizon's network technology. But, with the 4G LTE being GSM-aligned, Verizon will basically share the same network type with everyone. That's the idea, one iPhone for both kinds of networks.

Why the notion of an idea? The technology will have it's pioneer launch next year care of Verizon, and they're planning to cover 38 major cities in the US with it. AT&T, on the other hand, will have the 4G network ready by the middle of 2011, probably covering the same areaby virtue of competition. This will create a coverage area that's pretty much limited. And we all know that new network technologies like this aren't so easily to adapt. Making an iPhone for LTE technology will be basically as stable as the network it supports, which can take a couple of years. For practicality's sake, the Verizon iPhone, should have adapted both CDMA and LTE.

Apple, on the other hand, has this "strategy" of being an early adapter to new technologies and easily dumping the old ones. However, this wasn't the case for the first iPhone as it didn't support 3G at the time. Credit goes to the fact that the 3G network of AT&T isn't ready yet from the flood of users that will eventually use the 3G network. Another issue is the iPhone itself. Data flowing at 3G speeds will quickly drain the phone's power source, making it even impractical during the day.

What's the best solutions to all these implications? CDMA. It's known that Apple has been developing CDMA-compatible models concurrent to their current ones. But if Verizon really wants to sell iPhones that bad, this might push through. Also, Apple is also reported to be in the process of developing a fifth-generation iPhone having a new form factor.

EeePad EP90: Internet tablet from Asus finally arriving?

One more is about to jump into the jungle. Though it won’t confuse you more regarding which tablet you should buy but if the Israeli news paper is to be believed then the yet to be launched EeePad (only three ‘e’ in it) EP90 will be targeting enterprise customers. And, what exactly would enterprise customers want from the EeePad that other tablets aren’t delivering at the moment?




Though we will not be able to confirm the exact specifications of this tablet but it looks like the EeePad EP90 will come loaded with a dual core 1 GHz tegra processor. The EeePad EP90 will boast of 1024 by 600 pixels of resolutions which is pretty amazing. The EeePad EP90 will come in two versions with one having 32GB of inbuilt memory while the other having 16GB of internal memory.

The EeePad EP90 will of course have a 0.3 MP front facing camera, bluetooth 2.1, GPS and HDMI-out port for those who aren’t satisfied with the EeePad’s own screen. The EeePad should have around 4-6 hours of battery life. We’re not sure if the Asus tablet will run on Windows or Android but we are sure that Asus is gearing up big time to launch something during the holiday season.

RIM BlackBerry PlayBook tablet

Tablets, tablets and more tablets. During the annual BlackBerry Developer Conference at Research In Motion (RIM), CEO Mike Lizardis announced that they'll be releasing their own tablet, aptly named the "PlayBook". Joining Lizardis in the keynote speech is QNX (recently acquired by BlackBerry) founder Dan Dodge, saying that "QNX is going to enable things that you have never seen before". This is because the tablet will be running the BlackBerry Tablet OS which QNX developed. This platform will enable OpenGL, POSIX, Flash content via Flash 10.1 as well as HTML 5 web standards support. Dodge also added that the PlayBook will also be "an incredible gaming platform for publishers and the players." Teased? Full information after the jump.

As for dimensions, the PlayBook will be at 7.6 x 5.1 inches and only 0.4-inches thick, weighing 400g. It uses a 7-inch, using a capacitive multi-touch display having a resolution of 1024x600, powered by a Cortex A9-based 1GHz dual core CPU - making the company declare that it will be the fastest tablet ever. It also houses 1GB of RAM and for the mandatory camera/telephony functionality, has a 3-megapixel front camera while 5-megapixels at the back. For video playback, it is capable of 1080p HD, with HDMI ports. Connectivity is employed through MicroUSB connections, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1

Interface Examples:

The OS it uses is like a combination of your typical BlackBerry interface and that of the webOS for your multitasking needs. And as already mentioned, they're also emphasizing on the multimedia and gaming applications for your "first professional tablet", another moniker for this gadget. In terms of connectivity and integration with your BlackBerry smartphone, Lizardis terms the Playbook as an "amplification" of what's already in the former as it allows the display of data from your handset into the tablet without having to sync data.

Haleron has just released a new Android tablet called the X-Droid 10, the new tablet will come with Android 2.1. As for hardware specifications, we know that this model will use 10.1-inch TFT resistive touchscreen display and that supports 1024 x 600 resolution.
